About Banbridge Golf Club
Welcome to Banbridge Golf Club. A club for all. A modern, progressive, friendly club that’s ahead of the game. One that has shown vision in adapting to the changing face of golf by driving forward as one club, fit for the future.
In 2019, with the introduction of full membership for ladies, all members were afforded equal status and opportunities, creating a level playing field. And in 2021, the first female club president was appointed. Embracing gender equality was a response to the changing economic and social environment, and positioning the club to focus on the current and future challenges we face on and off the course.
In April 2021, Conor McKenna (CMK Golf), with an impressive track record in coaching and retail, joined our team as PGA Head Professional.
Banbridge Golf Club is situated in the heart of the beautiful Co Down countryside, with easy access from the A1 linking Belfast and Dublin. It offers excellent facilities including a challenging 18 hole, 5665 yard, par 69 course, well stocked pro shop CMK Golf, modern clubhouse, and popular restaurant.
The club’s mature parkland course is set in rolling drumlins with a view of the Mourne Mountains, and provides a challenge to golfers of all abilities, without being intimidating. Signature holes are the 6th with its menacing pond, and the par 3 – 209 yard 10th hole, where playing for a safe 4 is usually the best option!
We have a membership of approximately 750 across various categories from the young to the young at heart, and growing year on year through initiatives such as the women’s Get into Golf programme.
We welcome new members of all ages and ability; membership is a great way to enjoy the game of golf, meet new people and make life-long friendships. The social, mental and physical benefits of playing golf last a lifetime.
We also extend a warm welcome to both visitors and societies, and we will try our best to make you feel at home. We want you to be ‘one of our own’ for the day.
