Banbridge Golf Club is situated in the heart of beautiful County Down countryside, conveniently situated 25 miles south of Belfast, with easy access from the main Belfast to Dublin Road.
Its excellent facilities include a challenging 18 hole course, well stocked golf shop, superb luxurious Clubhouse, restaurant and conference room.
The course is a mature parkland course set in the rolling drumlins of County Down. Signature holes are the 6th hole with its menacing pond and the par 3 – 221 yard 10th hole, where playing for a safe 4 is usually the best option! The course provides a challenge to all golfers, whether scratch or 24 handicaps, without being intimidating.
The Club welcomes GUI Registered Societies to play the course (April – September inclusive) and avail of the excellent Clubhouse facilities. Details can be found on this website.
Our Golfing Professional Jason Greenaway or one of our office staff will only be too happy to help organise your outing and ensure that a visit to Banbridge Golf Club is memorable.

To all our members, it’s a great honour for me to be your Club Captain for the 2017 season. I look forward to meeting everyone over the incoming year, either on the golf course, at various inter-club matches or in the club house at the various social events planned.
Banbridge Golf Club is steeped in history as we are well over 100 years old now and it is a place where golf has been liked and played by our members over those years. A lot of individual members have some great memories playing golf here from the early days when we were only a 9 hole course to now a full 18 hole course with all its difficulties. Various improvements have been made to the course over that time by various individuals, convenors with volunteer help leaving us with a course to be proud of.
Over the incoming season I look forward to travelling with the different Team Captains to all the various inter-club matches and maybe we may be lucky enough to return with some silverware this year. I wish the members of all the various teams the best of luck to achieve this goal. To all our sponsors, thank you for your continued support with our various competitions for the incoming year – this we very much appreciate, I would ask all our members to turn out in numbers to give our sponsors your support for all these competitions.
To Lady Captain Karen, I wish you and the Ladies Branch a very rewarding year in golf. I want to thank the Ladies Branch in advance for their help in raising revenue that allows the different developments within the club house to take place and also for their hard work at maintaining the many flower beds around the club house and course. Obviously I want to mention the support the ladies always give to the different fund raising events planned during the year and especially Santa Sunday, we would be lost without their input. To Juvenile Captain Luke, on behalf of Council I wish you the best for your year and look forward to attending the different inter-club matches with the Juvenile Teams. To all our Office Bearers, Council members, Convenors and your committees, thank you for coming on Council, to our office staff and our professional Jason and his staff, thank you for helping to keep all our members informed of all the different developments happening both on and off the course over the incoming year. In conclusion, I wish all our members and visitors a healthy and enjoyable year in golf and hope you achieve the different goals you set out to achieve for the incoming year.
Yours In Golf
Sean Mc Greevy, Captain 2017
Welcome from Lady Captain for 2017 season
I feel deeply honoured to be Lady Captain of Banbridge Golf Club for 2017. This welcome may be brief, but it comes with sincerity. Having been a member of Banbridge Golf Club since I was 11 years old and having experienced many of the highs and lows (and probably every bunker several times!) I feel well-placed to extend a warm welcome to you and your family.
The contribution made by the sponsors, the comradeship shown between the members and your continuous support at the Club and social events are all invaluable.
I wish all members an enjoyable year’s golf and every success in the competitions. Remember, as Ben Hogan said, “The most important shot in golf is the next one”.
